Welcome to Canada’s Alpine Adventure. For over 125 years, Banff National Park has provided visitors with a healthy combination of unspoiled wilderness, modern amenities and opportunities for active exploration.

Banff National Park is located in Alberta, Canada, just a 90-minute drive West of Calgary International Airport.  The park is home to the Town of Banff, a municipality of about 8300 people, and the hamlet of Lake Louise, which services the hotels and campgrounds near its famous namesake lake. All in all, Banff National Park encompasses 6640 square kilometres of forested valleys, towering peaks, glacier-fed lakes, surging rivers, brilliant wildflowers and wildlife of all kinds, including the iconic grizzly bear.
