AUTUMN IS AWESOME IN LAKE LOUISE

Warm temperatures and sunshine are the norm, summer crowds are gone and the changing colours of the forest are a feast for the eyes. The Lake Louise Fall Festival offers unique activities, events and special packages to celebrate the season and experience the heart and soul of Banff National Park.

Fall is unbelievably spectacular, so don’t miss the opportunity to hike through the golden larch trees, a stunning contrast to the dramatic Canadian Rockies, evergreen valleys and turquoise-blue lakes. Sign up for a guided hike or bike adventure to learn about the history, flora and fauna of Lake Louise, or take a wilderness horseback trip like early explorers who opened up the rugged west. Restaurants have created tasty Fall Festival menus and a variety of interesting new events are planned, including a photography workshop, the 'Tea House Highline Challenge', artist demos at the Lake Louise Gondola and much more!

If you're looking for special ways to enjoy the Fall season in the Canadian Rockies, you'll find there are options for everyone, whether you're up for active exploration or relaxing amidst the changing colours. Simply click on the links below for our sample Fall Festival itineraries!
