Hold onto your crampons the SnowDays Mountain Adventure Weekend is set to launch you full-throttle into a celebration of all things adventurous in Banff National Park!

Don’t miss the 40 foot ice climbing wall downtown Banff with free climbing instruction and gear supplied.

If you’re looking for a taste of what skiing and snowboarding is all about, join the snow schools of Mt. Norquay, Lake Louise, & Sunshine Village at Slide and Ride in the Park, downtown Banff! Certified instructors will create a winter playground and introduce you to all the fun. This program is free and all equipment is provided.

Geocaching is the ultimate outdoor treasure hunt and fun for the entire family! Discover the classic winter activities in Banff National Park through this game of “high-tech hide and seek.” Be one of the first to find all of the geocaches to win great prizes!

The sparkling, glacier-fed waters of Banff National Park freeze over in winter, providing you with some of the most scenic skating rinks in the world! Bring your own skates or rent them in town then get your glide on at one of the four maintained rinks in the park.

Kick off SnowDays with a Saturday evening of feature films from the Banff Mountain Film Festival World Tour, a silent auction, music and speakers at Wild Bills all in support of the Canadian Avalanche Foundation!

Create your own winter adventure by pairing this weekend of events with ongoing activities. Enjoy skiing, dog sledding, curling, sleigh rides, cultural activities and more!

All it takes is walking the street to find an après-ski experience that’ll will round out your Mountain Adventure Weekend. Choose from regionally inspired appetizers at a hotel lounge, a pint of locally made beer at the pub or a Swiss fondue next to a crackling fire.
