This campground offers a more secluded and authentic camping experience. Located just minutes from Lake Minnewanka and nearby attractions, and 15 minutes north of the Town of Banff, this rustic, no-service campground has scenic sites available for tents or RVs, as well as group camping sites.
Sites: All 380 campsites have picnic tables. Most sites also have fireboxes. Sites are suitable for tents and small RVs up to 8 metres (27 feet) in length. A maximum of 6 people and two vehicles are permitted on each site. All tents and vehicles must be set up or parked on the gravel area of the campsite. Camping is on a first come, first serve basis.
Services: The campground has flush toilets, hot and cold running water, picnic shelters, food lockers and a sani-dump.
Regulations: There is an alcohol and fire ban in effect from 2300 - 0700 every day and a complete alcohol ban on long weekends. The maximum stay is 14 days. Check-out time is 1100.
Fees: $21.50 per site per night with no fire and $30.30 per site per night with fire. Wood is provided. Payment is with cash, traveller's cheque, debit, MasterCard, Visa, or American Express.
