Calgary Airport

• Exit Airport via Airport Rd NE.
• Continue straight onto Barlow Trail NE heading south (towards City).
• Continue along Barlow Trail until you reach the 16th Ave (HWY 1) junction, take this heading West.
• Stay on 16th Ave travelling through the city, this becomes HWY 1 (Trans Canadian Highway) and takes you to Banff.
• Approx 120km from the Airport, just past Canmore, are the entry gates into Banff National Park – where you can buy a Parks Pass (required).
• Continue past the gates another 15mins and take the 1st Banff exit.
• Turn left from the off ramp onto Banff Ave and continue into town.
• The Ptarmigan (hotel next door for check in) will be on your right at 337 Banff ave

Travelling on HWY 1 heading West

• If travelling west on HWY 1, take the first Banff exit.
• Turn left from the off ramp onto Banff Ave and continue into town.
• The Ptarmigan (hotel next door for check in) will be on your right at 337 Banff Ave.

Travelling on HWY 1 heading East

• If travelling west on HWY 1, take the first Banff exit (Mt Norquay Rd).
• Turn right from the off ramp onto Mt Norquay Rd.
• Continue past the Hospital and turn left at the first set of lights onto Wolf St.
• Continue straight, past the Cinema on your right, to the next set of lights and turn left onto Banff Ave.
• Travel down Banff Ave for a couple of minutes, The Ptarmigan (hotel next door for check in) will be on your left at 337 Banff Ave.
