Directions
The Calgary Airport
As you leave the airport, make a left at the traffic lights
Make the left at the next set of lights onto Airport Roard
Proceed on Hwy #2/Deerfoot Trail South
Exiting on 16th Avenue West / Hwy #1.
16th Avenue West is the Transcanada Highway however it does run through the city, allow sufficient driving time to cross the city.
Keep following 16th Avenue / Transcanada until the exit to Lake Louise.
Take exit and make a left at the stop sign this is Lake Louise Drive
Stay on this road until you reach the end of it and there you'll see the CLL (about 5 KM up the hill)
Take Hwy 2 South to Calgary (via Red Deer)
Then take TransCanada Highway 1 West
In Banff National Park, follow the signs for the town of Lake Louise and take the Lake Louise Turnoff
Turn left towards the village of Lake Louise, proceed through the village and up the mountain to the hotel
The West (Vancouver, approx. 9 hours):
Take TransCanada Highway 1 East (via Revelstoke, Golden)
For faster travel time, take turn-off at Coquihalla, Hwy 18
In Banff National Park, follow the signs for the town of Lake Louise and take the Lake Louise Turnoff
Turn right into the village of Lake Louise, proceed through the village and up the mountain to the hotel From Banff
