Tea Houses

A number of alpine teahouses in Banff National Park provide a welcome rest en route along some of the most breathtaking hiking trails in the country. At Lake Louise, you can even hike to two of these teahouses in one day. Be sure to ask the staff what it’s like to live up at the Plain of Six Glaciers teahouse. They’ll tell you their only way out is a 3-hour hike back to the Chateau Lake Louise.
