Walking Tours
You don’t have to be hiking or climbing to gain incredible views in Banff National Park.
A myriad of well-maintained and scenic pathways can take you to a number of beautiful locations – all accessible by walking. Among many options, you can walk past the surging blue waters of the Bow River to Bow Falls, along the shores of stunning alpine lakes, and through the quaint streets of the Town of Banff.
Historic walking tours are available in summer in both Banff and Lake Louise and will introduce you to the wonderful heritage of these mountain destinations (inquire at the Visitor Information Centre). Additionally, you can Walk Through Banff’s History at your own pace on a self-guided walking tour of more than 60 significant buildings in the Town of Banff.
