Choose Your Winter Excursion

Snuggled cozily under a blanket, cool, crisp air whooshes past you as a team of huskies pulls your dogsled on a picturesque journey through mountain valleys. If it sounds too good to be true, it isn’t. Dogsledding in Banff National Park just might be the once-in-a-lifetime activity you’re looking for! To add even more excitement, you can try mushing the sled for yourself and guide a team of dogs down the trail.

Several dogsledding companies are available in the area and offer a variety of excursions, including half-hour, half-day and full day tours. Depending on the length of your journey, some tours include a delicious gourmet lunch of beef jerky, cheese, dried fruit and a hot beverage.
