Great Divide Nature Interpretation

Snowshoe in Lake Louise! Walking against the dramatic backdrop of the Canadian Rockies, you will discover the stories behind the scenery of Banff National Park. Breathing in clean mountain air and putting one foot in front of the other gets you to some beautiful places.

Along the way, the snow acts as a canvas, recording the tracks of snowshoe hares, pine martens and even the occasional lynx. Beneath the snowpack are hibernating grizzly bears and your guide pops a “Griz Quiz” question to make you go “wow!” You’ve laughed and you’ve learned.

Also available: Summer guided walks and hikes (see our website) and private guiding.
