The Banff Campfire

An evening campfire program located adjacent to Blue Canoe. The program uses a fire-pit and run by professional interpreters, story-tellers and song-leaders to tell stories about Banff National Park.

The Bankhead Project

A one-time, outdoor event on July 18 located on the Bankhead walking trail. Eight artists will perform for two hours continuously at five locations and visitors will move through the area on their own. BHT will assist with recording the performance and develop into a GPS-based walking tour of the area.

Friends of Banff National Park

National Park Wardens Radio Series

Park Warden Radio Series is a series of fifteen 30 minute radio pieces with interviews of former and current Park Wardens with first hand accounts of what its like to be a warden in Banff National Park.

Lake Louise Community Council

Self Guiding Heritage Tour Brochure

A self-guided walking tour brochure featuring 17 points of interest from the village area to the tea houses above Lake Louise. The brochure is created in partnership with Parks Canada, ID#9, Lake Louise Ski Area, Travel Alberta and the Lake Louise Community Council.

“Walking Through Banff’s History” brochure

The brochure was first developed in 2006 as partnership between the Town of Banff and BHT and features 57 sites are part of a self guided walking tour. The brochure has been an excellent way for local community and visitors to experience the roots of Banff's unique community character and find out more about the built heritage.

Hidden Ridge Resort

Two Programs:

1 – A network of trail markings and signage around the Hidden Ridge Resort directing visitors to the trails that are in the area. There will be three large interpretive signs throughout the property.

2 – Creation and installation of a plaque speaking to the history of the property and the original cabins.
