How to Work With Our Brand

The way in which you answer the telephone, greet your customers at your place of business, the images you select for our marketing materials, the descriptions you provide about the destination experiences are all part of brand building.

There are a number of things we encourage you to do to bring more brand meaning and value to your own marketing programs and customer communications.

  1. Use the Banff Lake Louise - Banff National Park logo on our materials to reinforce the visual identity for the destination. Simply go to the corporate identity section of this site to learn how to use the logo and to download a copy of it in the desired format.
  2. Consider using the colour palette for the destination. These colours have been researched to reflect how the market sees the destination and we encourage you to use them in your materials.
  3. Signature images. Research has told us that the most notable and most photographed images are of the Fairmont Banff Springs, Victoria Glacier and Lake Louise, and Banff Ave with Cascade Mountain in the background. Using some of these images in your marketing materials, along with the experiential images (all of which are available from our image library), will reinforce the location of your product or service to the broader marketplace.
  4. Experientials. We have defined the key customer experiences that represent the greatest market opportunity for our destination. By determining with which of these your business is most aligned, you can add value to your marketing efforts and enhance the brand position.
  5. Celebrate life. Our brand promise is that Banff Lake Louise - Banff National Park is truly a place where you can celebrate life to the fullest. We have defined this in a large number of the ways through a selection of taglines. We encourage you to use these taglines to support the experiences you are trying to create for your customers.
