Canada Day Celebrations - Banff

Banff Alberta located in the majestic Rockies, is the perfect place to celebrate Canada's 141 birthday!

Festivities start at Canada Place with a pancake breakfast ($3 per person) hosted by Parks Canada.

The official opening ceremonies take place at Noon downtown in Central Park, followed by dance and musical entertainment throughout the afternoon on stage at the Louis Trono Gazebo. Refresh yourself at one of the many tempting food booths available in the park as you prepare for the Banff's biggest Canada Day parade ever at 5 P.M.

After the parade, head back to Central Park for an evening of great entertainment by the Local Legends, a musical review of the Bow Valley's finest professional bands. Performances run until 11:00 P.M. when the day's events end with a spectacular fireworks show.

Remember that entry into Banff National Park is FREE on July 1st.
