ambitions at a time when girls were groomed to be wives and mothers, and finding a place in the world with the help of her three sisters and the boy next door. Sung in English by members of The Banff Centre’s Opera as Theatre program, this acclaimed, family-friendly staging is the centrepiece of summer opera in Banff. Conducted by David Agler with Stage Direction by Kelly Robinson.
