Ice Magic

2026 Update: Unseasonably warm temperatures have caused the ice sculptures to deteriorate quickly. It will not be possible to view them from Friday, February 6 onwards. Ice sculptures are temporary by nature, but Ice Magic has come to an end earlier than we had hoped. Ticket holders have been contacted directly.

New this year, Banff hosts Art of Ice: Carving Competition, where 12 world-class artists will showcase their incredible talents live on Bear Street from February 6-8.

Step into a sparkling winter wonderland at the iconic Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise for Ice Magic 2026. Marvel at breathtaking ice sculptures that transform the landscape into a gallery of frozen artistry. As you wander through this frosty showcase, take in the thoughtful details and imaginative designs of each one-of-a-kind creation.

Ice Magic 2026 is an exclusive experience for guests of select Lake Louise hotels, as well as community members from Mînî Thnî to Field.
