Christmas in the Rockies

Join us this December as we celebrate the holiday season with Christmas in the Rockies! Holiday cookies & crafts, carolling and photos with Santa Claus. These activities make up just a few of the free fun family friendly events we have taking place throughout the Town of Banff on December 5 & 6.

Saturday December 5th
Festive Fun With Santa
Time: 1pm - 4pm
Location: Cascade Plaza, Banff

Santa Claus Parade of Lights
Time: 5:30pm
Location: Banff Avenue

• Photos with Santa - $5 per photo with 50% of the proceeds going to Santa's Anonymous
• Performance by Bow Valley Chorus presented by Cascade Plaza
• Christmas Tree decorating competition

• Enjoy our ice display and carving demonstration in celebration of the upcoming Ice Magic Festival January 22 - 24, Lake Louise

• Free wagon rides
• "Imaginanation" Puppet Show by Parks Canada Theatre Troupe, Mountain WIT

A Mountaintop Christmas Sing-Along
Time: 11am - 12pm
Location: The Regal View Garden Restaurant, Sulphur Mountain

Going up, waaaay up! On Sunday catch a ride on the gondola to the top of Sulphur Mountain, and feel the Rockies come alive with the sound of music. Join award-winning children's performers and music educators, Heather and Corina, for a free program of Christmas songs and stories with cookies and hot chocolate. They'll get your snow boots tapping and your mittens clapping - sure to warm up your voices and your hearts, and bring you closer to the spirit of Christmas. Presented in partnership with the Banff Gondola

For every adult gondola ticket purchased, one child rides for free, a value of $13.33.
Adult (16+): $27.62 incl GST

** Please note that adult residents of the Bow Valley who produce government issued photo ID ride for free.
