The Banff Heritage Tourism Community Partnership program is designed for individuals, organizations and businesses seeking to create new heritage tourism opportunities for visitors to Banff National Park by helping those organizations fund new initiatives.
Under the partnership program, new or unique projects, programs and special events can receive matching funding to support communications, development, staging and hosting costs for initiatives that support the core objectives of Banff Heritage Tourism.
Each potential community partnership should:
· make visitors aware that they are in a national park and World Heritage Site
· be a product or services that is consistent with the heritage values of Banff National Park
· encourage environmental stewardship
· strengthen employee orientation as it relates to sharing heritage understanding with visitors
· enrich the visitor experience
· be unique or new
· have an enduring legacy for the community
· benefit Banff National Park
· raise the profile of Banff Heritage Tourism within the community
