Banff's newest epicurean event offers the finest in regional cuisine – from small intimate tastings at local restaurants to a day-long affair sampling a vast array of tantalizing food, wine and liquor. The festival’s $20 online ticket provides entrance into the Grand Tasting Hall at The Fairmont Banff Springs Hotel May 31. The afternoon tasting goes from 2 to 5 p.m. and the three-hour evening event starts at 7 p.m. Beginners, intermediates, and connoisseurs will have the rare opportunity to learn more about their favourites from industry experts in a casual and social atmosphere.
