SATW Freelance Council meetings in Lake Louise, February 24 – 28, 2008

Greetings from Banff National Park!

On behalf of Banff Lake Louise Tourism and our industry partners, we are pleased to welcome you to the Society of American Travel Writers Freelance Council meeting in Lake Louise, Banff National Park.

We are thrilled to be the host destination for the Society of American Travel Writers Freelance Council meetings from February 24 – 28, 2008. As a highly recognized association for freelance writers, broadcasters, photographers, and electronic journalists, we have planned a conference program with pre and post tours that we hope will offer you diverse experiences and stories that are unique to Lake Louise, Banff, Jasper, and our gateway city of Calgary.

With over 3 million visitors annually, Banff National Park has a long history of exciting and rewarding travellers that visit our destination. We welcome you to visit, enjoy, and experience Canada’s Park.

Note: You may print out pages 52-56 of the PDF, fill it out manually, and fax back to (403) 762-8545. Alternatively, if using Adobe Acrobat Reader 8, you can complete and send the form digitally using the following steps:

1. Complete the form (pages 52-56) within the PDF by clicking within the fields and typing your information.
2. When ready, select File then Print from Acrobat's top toolbar ( Save won't save the form data so must use Print)
3. In the Printer Name area, select Adobe PDF
4. For Print Range select the Pages button and enter 52-56 in the text box. Click OK
5. A Save PDF File As dialogue box will pop up allowing you to rename the document (if you so choose) and select a location on your computer to save it. Click Save and you are done!
6. Attach the resulting PDF to an e-mail to conference@banfflakelouise.com to complete the registration process.

Selection Process

Registration for the conference opens November 27, 2008, and closes on January 2, 2008 please email conference@banfflakelouise.com or fax 403-762-8545 to register. If there are more registrations than space, the Freelance Council will hold a lottery. The draw is held by the SATW headquarters at the end of the registration period, and all registrants are eligible as long as their requests meet the closing deadline.
