The Lake Louise Ski Area

The Lake Louise Ski Area's four mountain faces add up to at total of 4200 acres of skiable terrain; and with an average snowfall of 454 cm and a beginner run from the top of every chair, it is the destination made for everyone. Not to be missed are our signature Powder Bowls located on the backside of the mountain. They offer wide open skiing in a huge 2500-acre area and feature some of the steepest pitches in the Rockies.

For those that are looking for a bit more confidence or to brush up on their current skills, the Lake Louise TELUS Winter Sports School has highly qualified instructors and offers a wide variety of private and group lessons, first tracks and specialty programs. One of The Lake Louise Ski Area's most unique experiences is the Downhill at Dusk Event. Held every Friday night, it is the Ultimate Apres Ski Party. Ride the last lift of the day to the Whitehorn Lodge at mid-mountain and enjoy drinks and appetizers, with live music by the Suds. Ski down a freshly groomed run after everyone else has left the mountain to the Sitzmark Lounge for a buffet dinner, dancing and more live music!
