Holiday on horseback has been guiding pack trips and trail rides in Banff National Park for over 47 years!

Saddle up for a horseback riding adventure and see the park from the back of a horse! Rides are available daily from Warner Stables or the Spray River Corrals, both located in the town of Banff. Trail Rides are available from 1 hour to full day in length and backcountry trips run from 2 - 6 days featuring rustic tent camps or cozy lodge accommodations.

Our popular BBQ cookouts are a great way to enjoy some western culture with the whole family as they are also available by covered wagon and feature a hearty home-cooked steak dinner, roping lessons and a friendly game of horseshoes!

Hop on our horse-drawn carriages for a scenic and romantic tour of the Banff townsite from our hitching post at 132 Banff Avenue. Carriages can be custom booked as well for a touch of romance to your day such as picking you up at your hotel and dropping you off at one of Banff's fine restaurants.

Drop in to the Trail Rider Store for the best in western shopping and pick up a new pair of cowboy boots or some western souvenirs! The shop is located at 132 Banff Avenue and features the best names in western accessories and clothing.

During the winter months, add a little apres' to your day with a horse-drawn sleigh ride through a mountain meadow. Group Sleigh rides are available for families while Private Romantic Sleigh Packages are an option for couples looking for a 1 horse-open sleigh!
