16 Delicious Events in Banff and Lake Louise This Fall

Add to my moments

While Banff and Lake Louise might be a famous getaway for both winter and summer adventure seekers, autumn visitors are in for an unforgettable experience.

The mountain air turns crisp and cool. The vibrant green of the forests gives way to ribbons of inviting orange and yellow. Large herds of majestic elk and other creatures seem to be everywhere as they prepare for the winter season.

Plus, you don't have to get up quite as early to catch the spectacular sunrises over the mountains.

And that's even before you get into fantastic events like the world-famous Banff Centre Mountain Film and Book Festival, which celebrates the finest in mountain culture.

To mark the event, local chefs have laid out the best that mountain dining has to offer, showcasing the depthless talent of Banff and Lake Louise's culinary community.

Here are some of the can't-miss dining experiences on the menu this autumn.
