Parks Canada researchers in Banff National Park have set up 20+ remote wildlife cameras in various spots around the park. The images that have come back are really quite astounding-very candid looks at animals that few people ever see.

This is about as close to a Grizzly as you're going to want to get.
There are several galleries of images, exposing these beautiful creatures-including some instances where the animals take notice of the cameras. For example, check out this terrific time lapse video look at photos of a popular tree, and the bears that find it an excellent back scratch. There is a surprise close up of a bruin at the end of the video;
