Lake Louise Campground - Tent

Located just minutes from the Village of Lake Louise, this campground is perfect for anyone with soft-sided camping units. It is close to local attractions and offers mountain views and access to hiking and biking trails. Evening interpretive programs are offered during the summer season. Visitors to Lake Louise campground enjoy free access to the Park and Ride Connector service linking the campground with Lake Louise Village, and the Park and Ride during the summer months.

The campground has flush toilets, showers, and hot and cold running water. There are food lockers for walk-in campers. There is a sani dump. Fire wood is provided. The train track runs close by this campground. All soft-sided camping units must stay in this campground.

All 206 campsites are reservable and have a picnic table. For groups that prefer to camp together, note that there are fire and no-fire loops when selecting a site. The sites are suitable for tents or small RVs up to 7 meters (24 ft) in length. All tents and vehicles must be set up or parked on the gravel area of the campsite.

Important Information: A maximum 6 people per campsite with a maximum 2 vehicles: 1 completely hard-sided camping unit, and 1 regular vehicle; or 1 completely hard-sided camping unit only per site. There is an alcohol and fire ban in effect from 2300 - 0700 every day. A total alcohol ban is in effect on all long weekends at all campgrounds in Banff, Yoho and Kootenay National Parks. Check-out time is 1100. The maximum stay is 14 days.
