
Lake Louise Campground - Trailer
Located just minutes from the Village of Lake Louise, this year-round campground is perfect for anyone needing space for larger units and/or people wanting power without full hook-ups. It is close to local attractions and offers mountain views and access to hiking and biking trails. Evening interpretive programs are offered during the summer season. Visitors to Lake Louise campground enjoy free access to the Park and Ride Connector service linking the campground with Lake Louise Village, and the Park and Ride during the summer months.
The campground has flush toilets, showers, and hot and cold running water. There is a sani dump. Fire wood is provided. The train track runs close by this campground. Only hard-sided units are admitted to this campground, all soft-sided camping units must stay in the enclosed electric fence in the Lake Louise Tent Campground.
All 187 campsites are reservable and have picnic tables and electrical hook-ups. For groups that prefer to camp together, note that there are fire and no-fire loops when selecting a site. Campsites are shared double-length sites best suited for units up to 15 meters (50 feet), and they are serviced with 15-30-50 amps. All vehicles must be parked on the gravel area of the campsite.
Important Information: A maximum 6 people per campsite, with maximum 2 tents and 2 cars; or 1 RV/camper, 1 tent, and 1 car permitted per site. There is an alcohol and fire ban in effect from 2300 - 0700 every day. A total alcohol ban is in effect on all long weekends at all campgrounds in Banff, Yoho and Kootenay National Parks. Check-out time is 1100. The maximum stay is 14 days.
