Banff Marathon

In a place that is so very alive, it's only natural to draw strength and power from the surroundings. The energy of the rushing Bow River and the sheer power of the Rocky Mountains serve as inspiration for the runners of the Banff Marathon.

10 km, half and full marathon routes lead from downtown Banff to some of the most scenic roadways in the world. The rolling hills pass by the stunning tranquillity of Vermillion Lakes and the winding curves of the Bow Valley Parkway before returning runners to a cheering crowd and a well-earned local craft beer.
