Indigenous Cultural Awareness Training

This Indigenous Tourism Alberta (ITA) workshop returns on October 22 and 24 at the Fairmont Banff Springs and is free for all BLLT members.

This is a one day workshop offered on two different dates. Registration closes at 3pm on October 18.

The workshop will help non-Indigenous stakeholders and tourism operators understand the history and cultural diversity of Indigenous communities and will showcase respect, responsibility, and reciprocity as a foundational approach to relationship building with Indigenous communities. The sessions will be similar to the 2023 offering. Returning participants are welcome to re-engage and deepen their understanding.
