Three Bears Brewery and Restaurant

Banff’s newest brewery is known for bringing the great outdoors – indoors. Featuring a retractable roof for stargazing, a beer garden, and cozy patio spaces; you’ll find the atmosphere as appealing as the fare. Perfectly pair salads, sandwiches, and pizzas with craft beer and creative cocktails.

Taste of Place: Fresh pizza dough made using a process known as “reverse ice water ferment”. It takes 72 hours but it is clearly well worth the wait!

Local’s Tip: Try out Happy Hour from 3:00 pm – 5:00 pm daily. You can find plenty of patio seating if your VIP (very important pup) came along for the outing

Saffron Indian Bistro

Banff’s newest Indian Bistro highlights the most precious spice in the world; ranging from Saffron Special Paneer Tikka to Saffron Special Chicken Curry. The authentic cuisine will take you on a trip around the world; offering something to satisfy any hungry traveller.

Taste of Place: Throughout history, Saffron has been used in food, drinks, and traditional herbal medicine. This spice is also rich in antioxidants.

Local’s Tip: From 11 a.m. – 3 p.m. daily enjoy a Saffron Special Thali. These Thali’s include traditional Indian food, a variety of Tandoori sizzlers, as well as appetizers and curries.

The Uprising Bake Shop + Espresso Bar

This new addition to Banff Avenue offers handcrafted bread products of the highest quality. Featuring muffins, pastries, sandwiches, and of course bread (including gluten-free) you’ll be spoiled for choice when it comes to a fresh-baked treat.

Taste of Place: Their signature is sourdough – so you can expect to see lots of sourdough varieties.

Local’s Tip: Each week they create a Bread Bag featuring select breads baked fresh and delivered the same day.
