Whitewater Rafting

Rafting in the Canadian Rockies

As we approached the next rapid, we got set: paddles at the ready and hearts beating faster with the thrill of anticipation. Suddenly we were in the flurry of whitewater. The guide maneuvered the raft and we paddled hard. The raft bounced through the whitewater, everyone squealing with delight as water splashed up over the boat and onto our feet. And then all of a sudden we popped out of the rapids and back to the calm water, smiles plastered over everyone’s faces. All was quiet and still, and we floated gently, trailing our fingers in the crystal clear water.

This was an unbelievable experience. Thrilling, and good value, the staff are highly trained, knowledgeable and entertaining. Couldn't recommend highly enough. TripAdvisor review Broos85

Great instructor. Awesome with the kids. Good direction and everyone felt comfortable. We had a really good time and we would definitely do this again.TripAdvisor review Sara G

River rafting safaris and float trips with gentle or no rapids are a great choice for families with young children and seniors, or those simply wanting to take in beautiful Banff and Lake Louise at a more leisurely pace. Float gently along a winding river while your guide gives an interpretive talk on local history, geography, and the surrounding flora and fauna. Don’t forget your camera to capture unforgettable scenery and surprise visits from curious bears, elk, waterfowl and more.
