A new era of relaxation begins at BASIN Glacial Waters, the newly opened indoor-outdoor thermal wellness spa at Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise. Inspired by Nordic traditions and designed by renowned architect Matteo Thun, this adult-only retreat offers glacial-fed thermal circuits, curated wellness “Trails,” and signature rituals like the Aufguss Ceremony, all set against the breathtaking backdrop of Lake Louise. Access is currently exclusive to overnight hotel guests, with public passes coming soon.

Lake Louise Ski Resort is expanding with Richardson’s Ridge, a brand-new ski area set to open in early spring 2026. The new Richardson’s Ridge Express high-speed quad will make it easy for skiers and riders of all levels to explore this stunning new zone.

Rocky Mountaineer Launches Limited-Time Route for 2026
Next summer, Rocky Mountaineer will introduce Passage to the Peaks: a limited-time, two-day rail journey through the heart of the Canadian Rockies. Running from June 10 – 30, this scenic route connects Banff and Jasper via Kamloops, offering breathtaking views of Castle Mountain, Pyramid Falls, and Mount Robson. Guests will travel in comfort aboard Rocky Mountaineer’s signature glass-dome coaches, complete with onboard dining, hotel accommodations, and optional add-ons to Lake Louise.
Saddle Up for a Backcountry Adventure in Banff
