New Shuttle Service from Calgary to Canmore with Discover Banff Tours
Starting June 1, 2026, Discover Banff Tours will introduce a daily connecting shuttle service with pick‑ups from Calgary and Canmore, linking guests to morning and afternoon tour departures. Calgary pick‑ups will be available early morning from major downtown hotels, with scheduled morning and afternoon pick‑ups from Canmore’s Railway Avenue hotels, and one return service at the end of the day.
New and updated sightseeing experiences with Discover Banff Tours including the Moraine Lake Sunrise tour, the full‑day Lakes of the Rockies tour, and the Lake Louise & Moraine Lake Tour and Transfer will also be launched this year. However, the Discover Grizzly Bears tour has been discontinued.
Rimrock Banff Reopens July 1, 2026
Following a full renovation, Rimrock Banff, part of the Emblems Collection by Accor, marks the brand’s first North American property. The reimagined hotel features 320 redesigned rooms and suites, new dining concepts, and enhanced wellness facilities, with a strong focus on immersive mountain experiences.
Highlights include a thermal bathhouse, an expedition centre for guided outdoor experiences, and elevated programming designed to connect guests with the natural beauty of the Canadian Rockies.

New Kid-Focused Programming Offered by Pursuit
Offered at selected Pursuit experiences in Banff, Jasper, and Golden, Rockies Rangers invites kids aged 2–16 to discover the Canadian Rockies through hands-on activities, wildlife encounters, and interactive field guides. Each child receives a guide, lanyard, pencil and can earn a badge in a special ceremony. Even better, children can participate for free when accompanied by paying adults, making it an easy add-on for family itineraries.
Banff Upper Hot Springs is Now Reopened
The Banff Upper Hot Springs are back open. Ease tired muscles with a restorative soak in naturally heated mineral waters surrounded by mountain views. Limited paid parking is in effect from May to October, so plan to take Roam Transit Banff Local Route 1 to get to the springs.
