The Banff Iiniskim Powwow is a truly cross-cultural event, inviting people from all nations to watch and participate in a lively, unique, and uplifting celebration of culture through traditional song and dance. Immerse yourself in this authentic, indigenous experience as different nations compete for prizes in a series of singing and dancing competitions in beautiful, traditional regalia, all performed live in front of a panel of judges.

The event will take place from 12 p.m. to 10 p.m. at the Fenlands Recreation Centre in Banff.

There is also a market which is open from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. with vendors selling and showcasing indigenous arts and crafts.

Tickets are available to purchase at the event. Entry is $12 per person and children under 7 years old are free.
