MANAGER, EVENTS (Planning and Development)

The Manager, Events will help shape the future direction of events in Banff and Lake Louise.  They will work closely with internal partners and key stakeholders on strategies and tactics to support increased visitation during need periods, enhance the visitor experience, engage the community, and bring the destination’s brand to life through owned and sponsored events that are authentic to our place.

MANAGER, EVENTS (Production)

The Manager, Events is a self-motivated leader who will oversee the production and logistical implementation of all Banff and Lake Louise Tourism events.  

The person in this role will be responsible for working with a range of outside contractors and third-party organizers to ensure planned events are delivered on time, on budget, and to the highest of standards in keeping with our overall destination brand. They will be responsible to ensure that event permit applications are submitted and approved; health and safety, wildlife mitigation, traffic management, and resource plans are complete; and our commitments to our partners at Town of Banff and Parks Canada, with respect to the operation of all events, are met.

The Manager, Business Events will play a key role in shaping and delivering the strategies and tactics in the business events space. They will work closely with destination stakeholders and industry partners, to inspire groups to convene in Banff and Lake Louise.
