Whether it is a weekend getaway or a longer stay; take time to reconnect to one another in the serenity of nature surrounding you. This summer, enjoy a romantic escape to the Canadian Rockies together.

Day 1: Rustic Romance

For day one of your romantic adventures, we recommend taking the scenic route to Lake Louise. Once you reach Castle Junction, turn onto the Bow Valley Parkway to enjoy a quieter road with plenty of opportunities to spot wildlife! Along the route, you cannot miss the beautiful Baker Creek Resort. After exploring the numerous trails in the surrounding area, settle into the warm ambience of a log cabin in the woods.

Finish your first day in the mountains with après under the alpenglow at your unique accommodation. If you have opted for a cozy cabin for this special getaway, take advantage of your patio and enjoy your private picnic under the stars. Settle into the intimate peace found amongst the tranquil twilight surrounding you.

Day 2: The Ride of a Lifetime

Rise early on day two and explore your surroundings in Lake Louise, take a ride up the Lake Louise Gondola and enjoy the walks and views on offer. Grab a coffee and breakfast here, otherwise, head to the Samson Mall for more scrumptious options such as Laggan's Mountain Bakery and Trailhead Cafe. Once you are ready, saddle up for a guided horse ride past turquoise lakes and glistening glaciers. Let your knowledgeable guide take you on a half-day riding tour as you nurture your spirits in nature. You may even have the chance to indulge in the menu offerings at either of the historic tea houses.

After a day of adventuring, you can settle into a savoury meal at the Station Restaurant and Heritage Railway Station. Enjoy an assortment of regional and house-made cuisine surrounded by historic décor. For a unique experience, enjoy dinner on the patio overlooking the garden or even opt for a private dining experience in the Delamere.
