Mt. Norquay Sightseeing Chairlift

Experience Banff like never before. Explore. Relax. Climb. Hop on a piece of history! Your 10-minute open-air chairlift ride will take you up above the clouds to our sightseeing walkway where the Town of Banff, expansive Spray & Bow Valleys and majestic Mt. Rundle make up the stunning backdrop below. The Chairlift accesses the beautiful Cliffhouse Bistro, where local craft beers and great wine accompany mouth-watering alpine dining. The Cliffhouse was built in 1952 and while being fully refurbished in 2014 the original character remains, as do the stunning views! Learn about the importance of connections within our National Park environment. Wildlife including grizzly bears traverse the slopes of Norquay to access safe habitats for feeding and rearing their young. People's movements within our mountain landscape can be mapped and easily seen from the chairlift. Up here, you get the big picture.
