Community Novelty Races

Community Novelty Races, Family Fun Banff National Park

SnowDays in Banff and Lake Louise

The Community Novelty Races will be showcased on Banff Avenue during SnowDays as part of a day-long celebration that will conclude with a thrilling Skijoring demonstration, a throwback event that marries cowboy and ski culture in a fun and entertaining format.

The Community Novelty Races were a big part of the initial Banff Winter Carnival that launched in 1917, and we are extremely excited to continue these events as both a celebration of our history and community. Make sure you come along to watch the community come together and cheer each other on.
