Artistic Program - The Dome at The Whyte: Summer Immersive Film Series

Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays at 3 PM | 44 minutes

Step inside The Dome at The Whyte this summer for an unforgettable cinematic experience. From July to August, immerse yourself in a 360° journey where film, sound, and storytelling come together in a captivating curation of film programs.

This program brings together award-winning and avant-garde filmmakers exploring deep time, memory, music, and transformation through immersive design.

Films:

I Saw the Future (6 min): Arthur C. Clarke’s eerily accurate predictions of AI, the internet, and space travel brought to life in a glitchy, otherworldly archive dive.

Recoding Entropia (8 min): A mysterious geometric monolith collapses into chaos—revealing cryptic messages in motion.

Partita for 8 Voices (25 min): Surround yourself with Roomful of Teeth’s Grammy-winning choral piece, reimagined with Sol Lewitt-inspired visual poetry.

The Orchid and the Bee (5 min): A surreal, expressionistic journey into nature’s evolutionary dance of seduction and survival.

Cost:

Adult $15

Kids/Youth 17 and under $10

Member $12.50

Adult + Museum admission $24
