Step inside The Dome at The Whyte this summer for an unforgettable cinematic experience. From July to August, immerse yourself in a 360° journey where film, sound, and storytelling come together in a captivating curation of film programs.
This program brings together award-winning and avant-garde filmmakers exploring deep time, memory, music, and transformation through immersive design.
Films:
I Saw the Future (6 min): Arthur C. Clarke’s eerily accurate predictions of AI, the internet, and space travel brought to life in a glitchy, otherworldly archive dive.
Recoding Entropia (8 min): A mysterious geometric monolith collapses into chaos—revealing cryptic messages in motion.
Partita for 8 Voices (25 min): Surround yourself with Roomful of Teeth’s Grammy-winning choral piece, reimagined with Sol Lewitt-inspired visual poetry.
The Orchid and the Bee (5 min): A surreal, expressionistic journey into nature’s evolutionary dance of seduction and survival.
