Banff Iiniskim Cross-Cultural Powwow

The Banff Iiniskim Cross-Cultural Powwow will not be taking place in 2026. We want to extend a big thank‑you to the Buffalo Nations Museum for bringing this special gathering to life over the years, and to all the dancers, drummers, Elders, artists, and community members who have shared their gifts in past years.

While the Powwow will not return this season, there are many meaningful ways to connect with Indigenous cultures in Banff National Park. From guided experiences and storytelling to local art, heritage, and events, we invite you to continue exploring and supporting Indigenous-led offerings throughout the region.
