Banff Sunshine Summer Skiing

Get ready to carve turns in the heart of the Canadian Rockies this summer. Banff Sunshine’s 2026 Summer Ski Season returns June 20 to July 5, delivering 16 days of summer skiing and riding in Banff National Park.

The current plan is to operate the Strawberry Express Chairlift throughout the full summer ski season, with terrain and feature updates to be shared closer to opening day. From groomed summer laps to the return of the Summer Strawberry Terrain Park, the crew is already preparing for another unforgettable summer season.

Summer skiing is complimentary for guests with a 2026/27 SkiBig3 Season Pass, Banff Sunshine Season Pass, or an overnight stay at Sunshine Mountain Lodge.

Guests with a 2025/26 SkiBig3 or Banff Sunshine Season Pass will receive 50% off summer skiing lift tickets, as well as 2025/26 or 2026/27 Ikon or Mountain Collective passholders. Window rates for summer skiing are:

Adult: $80

Youth & Senior: $50

Child (6–12): $30

Kids 5 & under ski free

Throughout the season, conditions, terrain updates, and park features will be shared across Banff Sunshine’s website and social channels.

Please note: during the Summer Ski Season, Banff Sunshine sightseeing and hiking operations will be paused. Summer sightseeing and hiking will begin July 6, following the conclusion of summer skiing operations.
