Indigenous Days at Banff Sunshine Village
Join us to learn more about Tsuut’ina culture through Tipi demonstrations, traditional dances, arts and crafts workshops, and storytelling sessions. Brown Bear Events will be on hand throughout the village to share the rich history and traditions of the land.
At Banff Sunshine Village, we respectfully acknowledge that Banff National Park is situated within the traditional and ancestral territory of the Stoney Nakoda First Nation, Tsuut'ina Nation, and the Blackfoot Confederacy: Kainai, Piikani, and Siksika. We also recognize the Treaties 6, 7, & 8 and the Métis peoples who reside in Alberta. Historically, the lands and waters of Banff National Park have been used by Indigenous peoples for sustenance, ceremony, travel, and trade.
Indigenous Days activities are included with a valid gondola pass.
