Kate Stevens
Step into something a little more intimate at Clvb ‘33, Banff Centre’s new cabaret-style listening room, for an evening with Kate Stevens. A Calgary-born singer, songwriter, and storyteller, Stevens brings a sound that feels both classic and fresh, blending early R&B with touches of funk, rock, and soul.
Her songs move through moments of heartbreak, connection, and memory, delivered with a voice that’s as fluid as it is expressive. Joined by Kyle Tenove and Barry Mason, this 90-minute set unfolds like a musical memoir. Tracing Stevens songwriting journey alongside a handful of carefully chosen covers that have shaped her along the way. With multiple songwriting awards to her name, performances spanning from the Calgary Folk Music Festival to Bella Concert Hall, and a deep connection to Alberta’s music community through her work on CKUA Radio, Kate Stevens brings both artistry and authenticity to the stage. Clvb 3’3 offers the perfect setting to experience it all up close, an evening of stories, songs, and more.
