Bow Valley residents and visitors from near and far can participate in this unique Stoney Nakoda cultural learning and sharing experience.
There will be live performances at 12pm and 2pm in the Banff Avenue Square. In between, 20-minute cultural learning activities will be happening inside the Banff-Canmore Community Foundation office at 214 Banff Avenue, themed around music and song. Nakoda Youth Council will offer a session about their recent photography project. There will be art wall installations and conversations and cultural learnings around celebrations of Stoney Nakoda people.
Vendors will be selling their own goods, offering an opportunity to purchase direct from local Indigenous artisans.
