Mountain Voices and Echoes: Writing, Stories, and Archives Beyond Borders

Join us for a moderated conversation to discuss mountain voices in mountaineering and skiing from the Swiss Alps to the Rockies in transnational, globalized, and cross-cultural perspectives. The conversation will open ideas, writing, and archival finds for reading mountain people and transnational themes, including historical research projects completed through the Archives and Special Collections Library at The Whyte.

With presenters Dr. Claude Hauser, Lucia Leoni, and Maurizio Raselli from the University of Fribourg, and Dr. PearlAnn Reichwein and Charlotte Mitchell from the University of Alberta. Moderated by Dr. Reichwein.
