Visual Arts Open Talk: Jackson 2bears

Jackson 2bears is a Kanien'kehaka (Mohawk) multimedia artist from Six Nations and Tyendinaga. As faculty for Summer Banff Artist in Residence, 2bears' talk will focus on a in-progress site specific installation in/with his home community, and other recent media works. 2bears will also discuss new work developed during a recent residency at MIT that explores the relationship between artificial intelligence and Indigenous creative and cultural practices. Open talk held in the Jeanne and Peter Lougheed Building, Room 204 at the Banff Centre for Arts and Creativity.
