Wildflower Watercolours for Kids

The beauty of the Canadian Rockies has inspired artists for decades to produce wonderful works of art and continues to do so today. This March, kids can embrace their own creativity and talent at the Whyte to create your watercolor masterpiece.

Discover the tale of two Marys, Mary Vaux Walcott and Mary Schaffer Warren, women who explored the backcountry looking for wildflowers and used their artistic skills to create watercolor depictions that would be published in scientific books. Create your own watercolor botanical art based on their own works of Rocky Mountain wildflowers.

This program is 60 minutes long and is for children aged 6-12 years old. Program starts at 9 AM

Tickets include the program cost and admission to the museum so you can make the most of your day out!

Parent/guardian supervision required at all times and participation encouraged.
