Fat Biking Spray River East Trail
Combine a visit to the frozen tumble of ice at Bow Falls with an adventurous fatbike ride on the Spray River trail. The trail starts just beyond the falls on the Golf Course Road, and soon heads into the woods on rolling singletrack terrain. There are great views of the Spray River below and Rundle Mountain above, but we won’t be surprised if you’re busy making the most of every up and down on the trail.

Local Tips
Cross-country skiers get moving pretty quickly on this trail and rely on tracks, so do your best to stay off the tracks and keep everyone safe.
This trail does loop around on the west side of the river, but fat bikes are only permitted on the east side.
Check in with Parks Canada for recent trail grooming updates and conditions before heading out.
