What is a Park Pass?
A Park Pass is a permit to visit a national park. Park Pass fees help pay for the most popular places and services in the park – including the scenic parkways, day use areas, trails, public safety, and information services. The fees remain in the national park where they are collected.
You will need to purchase a Park Pass if you are spending time in Banff National Park or you are travelling on scenic parkways (including the Icefields Parkway and Bow Valley Parkway).
To purchase a Park Pass, please visit the Banff National Park Gate or one of the Visitor Centres.
