Brunch in the Canadian Rockies can’t be beat. There is no better way to prepare for a long day of adventure than with a hearty helping of back bacon, real maple syrup or even, a classically Canadian Caeser!  

Here are some great ways to start your day in Banff National Park:  

Juniper Bistro

Juniper Bistro boasts one of the best views in the valley with frequent wildlife sightings. Enjoy brunch on Saturdays and Sundays when you can soak in the views and savour their handcrafted, sustainable, and delicious creations. To top it off they have answered the Canadian call for poutine with a brunch-style poutine, complete with hollandaise sauce.

Crave Mountain Grill - Banff Park Lodge

Crave Mountain Grill offers premium, casual style, relaxed dining, with food sourced from local and organic suppliers where possible. With wall to ceiling windows that show off the picture-perfect mountain views, enjoy a relaxed atmosphere and friendly service.

The Maple Leaf in the heart of downtown Banff serves up an authentically Canadian brunch daily. Their log cabin design is sure to warm your soul no matter the season. Known for their maple bacon as well as their Canadian Bacon Benedict, a trip to Banff simply isn’t complete without a stop here.

The Sleeping Buffalo

The Sleeping Buffalo of the Buffalo Mountain Lodge is a perfect choice for those wanting to try Alberta game meats. The chefs at The Sleeping Buffalo create their own Elk Cranberry Sausages that accompany their mixed grill breakfast. If you’re craving something a little lighter, try the wild mushroom omelet. Their new café even allows you to grab breakfast options anytime throughout the day and presents you their own line of jams and preserves to take home with you.
