Canoe Lake Louise

Gazing at sparkling ripples that give way to vivid blue waters, it’s easy to see how Lake Louise has stopped many an adventurer in their tracks. Tiny particles of rock flour suspended in the water catch the sunlight and reflect in turquoise splendor.

The lake appears most luminous from the seat of a canoe. In fact, the bright red canoes that glide across the lake are almost as iconic as the wonders that surround the shoreline. As you paddle smoothly through the water, revel in the unfolding panorama of towering peaks and the hanging Victoria Glacier above.
