Hiking
Johnson Lake Trail
Footprints of hikers mingle with those of elk and deer on the well-worn trail that envelopes Johnson Lake. This pleasant hiking trail moves between the lakeshore and grassy slopes in a gentle 3 km loop.
High above the lake, the ridge of iconic Mount Rundle dominates the skyscape. Time your hike to finish at twilight, and you'll be treated to a surreal light show of golden hues from the setting sun.
